Transport Information:

BUS from Southampton/Totton: https://www.bluestarbus.co.uk/

Bluestar Bus #9 is every 20 minutes from Southampton city centre (outside Asda), Southampton Central Station, Totton (Rushington Roundabout) and Hythe ferry terminal. Bluestar Bus #8 will take you there also but it is a longer journey as it diverts through Marchwood en route. Seven stops after Hythe Ferry Terminal alight at Hardley Roundabout (ask the driver or follow the crowds) and the Vibrant Forest Brewery is 5 minutes walk away. Stay on the same side of the road and continue in the direction the bus was going. Cross over the roads on the South side of the roundabout (no footpaths on the North side) and head West into the Hardley Industrial Estate. There will be a sign that will guide you to our Brewery which is the first right turning (behind PC Builders.)

Buses return towards Southampton from Hardley Roundabout (opposite the stop you got off at but walk back to the stop the same way you came on the South side as it is much safer.) Bluestar Bus #9 is every 20-30 minutes until 17:33 then they are hourly from 18:20 until last bus at 23:20.

TRANSPORT IN THE SOLENT REGION: http://solentgo.co.uk/

FERRY from Southampton: http://hytheferry.co.uk/

Hythe Ferry operates from Town Quay, Southampton (conveniently situated opposite the Dancing Man Brewery.) Ferries run every half hour (on the hour and half hour) and the journey only takes about 15-20 minutes depending on the tides. It connects via a pier shuttle-train (the world’s longest-continuing service of its kind - worth the fare for this alone) with Bluestar Bus #9 at Hythe where the bus is every 20 minutes (see above for bus travel). Hythe is only 2 miles from our Brewery and quite walkable if you wish to travel early to avoid the crowds and build up a thirst.

The ferries return to Southampton every half hour (at 10 and 40 minutes past the hour) until the last on at 22.10 (but please note that there is a break in service so there is no 19.40 ferry.)

TRAINS to Southampton/Totton: https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

If you are travelling from further afield, Southampton Central Railway Station is a major transport hub for the region and there are direct trains from all over England, Scotland and Wales arriving very regularly. Bluestar Bus #9 leaves from just outside the station and stops very close to our Brewery.

Totton Railway Station may be more convenient for you but trains do not stop there as regularly and note that Bluestar Bus #9 bus leaves from the bus-stop at Rushington Roundabout (by the entrance to the park) which is a 10 minute walk from the station.

DRIVING to Hardley Industrial Estate

We really do not expect many people to drive to the brewery for this event, for obvious reasons, You will be able to park your car on the roads very close to the brewery (see map link). As it is a Saturday there is very little activity on the estate but please do not park in other businesses’ car parks unless it is clearly indicated that you can do so.

WALKING to Hardley Industrial Estate

The best way to get here is to walk, if you live close enough. We are here on the eastern edge of the New Forest National Park:
