We are looking for a talented and passionate Taproom / Retail Assistant Manager to help drive growth within our fast growing Taproom. The role requires somebody who is passionate about craft beer with great customer facing skills. This is an fantastic opportunity to drive forward our very popular taproom space and to promote the retail side of the business.

Role & Responsibilities

- Organising and running state of the art Taproom events
- Serving customers and ensuring they receive excellent service at all times
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies
- Promote and manage taproom event bookings
- Maintain our ePOS systems
- Managing beer lines and stock rotation
- Making sure hygiene is of the highest standards at all times
- Organising and promoting brewery tours
- Managing inventory
- Developing and promoting merch
- Educating our customers on our portfolio of beers
- Manage our web shop and driving retail sales
- Organise and attending retail events
- Managing taproom staff
- Open and closing of taproom
- Help manage social media
- Plan and help develop taproom schedule

Key requirements of the successful candidates

You will have:

- Experience of pouring beer and engaging with customers
- Passion and energy for craft beer
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- An enthusiastic and vibrant personality
- Strong customer facing skills
- Flexibility with working hours - weekend working is required as well as shifts for for events.
- Ability to plan the taproom space for maximum efficiency and safety of our customers
- Staff management experience
- Good IT skills (Web skills are very desirable)
- Personal Alcohol License is desirable
